The Orthonica Journey Master Plus Mobility Scooter in red is a foldable electric scooter built for heavier riders. It has a strong steel frame, a 24V 350W motor and a top speed of 10km/h. A 24V 12AH lead acid battery gives a range of 15 to 20km per charge. The 9 inch solid PU front and rear tyres need no air, so there are no punctures to fix. It measures 125cm L x 50cm W x 100cm H, folds down to 120cm L x 50cm W x 54cm H, weighs 47kg and has a 180kg maximum load.
A mobility scooter is there for the trips you want to keep making, to the shops, the park or a friend's place. The Journey Master Plus makes getting on and off easier with a seat that swivels 360 degrees and adjusts in height, and armrests that adjust to your width and flip up out of the way. The LED headlight helps you see and be seen, the front anti-collision bar protects you and the scooter, and rear anti-tip castors add stability on ramps and slopes. A removable basket carries your shopping. When it is time to travel, the tiller folds down and the seat and basket lift off so it is easier to fit in a car boot and store, and a one switch change to manual mode lets you push it by hand if the battery runs flat.
