Soft gold detailing against a clean body, with a polished chrome lid and spout on the kettle. Ascend is the range for a kitchen where the appliances are part of the decoration, without tipping into ornament.
Buying the kettle and the toaster together is mostly about the bench. Two appliances from different ranges never quite agree with each other, and a kitchen bench is a small enough stage that the disagreement shows. These two were designed alongside one another, so the finish, the trim and the proportions match.
The toaster runs two pairs of slots with their own controls, so you can run one side for a single round of toast and leave the other cold, or run all four when the kitchen is busy.
