The Fast Tracker is operated using two manual controls. There is a sensitivity control (which also turns the detector on or off) that selects the detecting power of the machine This is usually set high, but can be dialed down to reduce electromagnetic interference when working near powerlines etc. There is also a variable discrimination control that can be used to eliminate iron targets or mid range targets such as aluminium pull tabs.
The Bounty Hunter Fast Tracker detector can be used either with its built-in speaker or standard headphones (not included) via its 1/4" headphone jack.
